Our story started back in 1963 when our founder, Charles "Pudgie" Cleary, opened the very first Pudgie’s in nearby Elmira, New York. Of course, the whole family came along for the ride—his brothers, Francis "Frankie da Cheese" and Michael, alongside their sister, Mary, all pitched in to help build the business from the ground up. Together, they had a simple vision: serve up high-quality, delicious food with unbeatable value. Along the way, they revolutionized how the Southern Tier feeds a crowd by becoming the proud creator of the original sheet pizza—a hometown innovation that has been bringing families, teams, and friends together for generations.
Right here in Corning, we are honored to carry on that legendary tradition as a proud 3rd-generation family business. We still make our signature fluffy dough fresh daily, pairing it with our mouthwatering Buffalo-style wings, loaded subs, and daily specials that our neighbors have loved for over sixty years.
